Note | Hannah was born in 1770, but her place of birth is not known. She was christened at Kempston, in Bedfordshire, in 1788, at the age of 17, on the same day that her brother James was married. It would appear that the baptism ceremony was probably conducted in conjunction with the wedding at the local church in Kempston. Hannah married Isaac WATFORD in 1796 in Kempston. The IGI also has entries which place this marriage in Wootton, Bedfordshire, and some entries suggest it took place in 1795. The information provided is taken from the batch sourced entry. The connection with Wootton seems likely based on the weight of IGI evidence, but the nature of the connection remains unclear. Nothing more is known of Hannah and Isaac at this time. |
