Note	Bessie was born in 1899. Her birth was registered at Warracknabeal (Vic). Bessie married Lionel AFFORD at the Baptist Manse in Warracknabeal in 1919. Bessie and Lionel were both 19 years of age at that time. After their marriage, Lionel and Bessie farmed and raised their family around Hopetoun (Vic). Lionel died at Hopetoun in 1971 at the age of 71. Bessie died at Hopetoun some years later, in 1996, at the age of 96.
