Note	Lycurgus gave his place of birth as Bordertown (SA) when he joined the services during the Great War. His service number was S12870, which does not seem to be an AIF number, so the nature of his wartime service is uncertain. His wife, Eva, was named as his next of kin, and he enlisted at Bordertown. Lycurgus died in 1932 at the age of 48. An inquest (#49) was held into his death, but the details have not yet been investigated.
