Note | In the 1901 census, Elizabeth (aged 12) was described as a school girl, and was visiting Gamers Hall, the home of widower Nimrod WALTER (aged 55), in Reigate, Surrey, England, when the census was taken. Nimrod WALTER was a surveyor and sanitory inspector. His unmarried son, Nimrod WALTER (aged 34), was also at the house and was working as a surveyor's clerk. Their housekeeper was Charlotte PARKER (aged 25), who happened to be Nimrod's niece. |
