| Note | Mabel lived in Hopetoun (Vic) before she married. Her elderly aunt, Polly ROWNEY, lived there with her for a time before she died. Mabel married Jack GRIFFIN in 1934 when she was around 30 years of age. Mabel and Jack lived in Hopetoun. They had one child, a daughter Maureen. Mabel's sister Dorrie and Dorrie's husband Clarence BROOKS had no children and they also lived with the GRIFFIN family. Mabel died in Warracknabeal (Vic) in the 1990's, although the exact date is not known. |
